Police seized 4 million EUR assets bought through criminal activity

The “Autumn 2017” operation against criminal assets has led to seizing 4 million EUR of properties in Tirana and Vlore.
The name of the person involved was kept secret, for investigation reasons. The operation was initiated by the Tirana Police, in cooperation with the Prosecution of Serious Crimes.
Four large apartments and two garages were seized in Tirana,one apartment in Vlore, then land properties in Drimadhe, Porto Palermo, Llaman and Himara.
Police sources say that the person involved has purchased these properties with money deriving from criminal activity and international drug traffic.
