Police have arrested two people after the explosion of the vehicle of Shkurt Toplana, a police officer in Kombinat.
The Press Office say that they have arrested Renato Kazani, resident of Koder Kamez and a police officer at the Tirana Police Unit 5, Shaban Lami, 52.
According to the police, there are strong suspicions that the attempt, which fortunately ended without victims, took place after an arrest that Toplana had made three days ago. Toplana had arrested the son of his colleague, who had disobeyed to the patrol due to the fact that he was the son of a police officer.
The act is thought to be a retaliation. The explosion took place at 22:00, in Kombinat. Their case file is being investigated as an intentional murder attempt of a police officer.
