“He drinks constantly and mistreats me”, was the last word said by
Dallendyshe Jazxhiu to the police about his husband, while the
authorities made an immediate request for protection of the woman.
But however, the woman did not appear any more and the case has been suspended a few weeks before she was killed by her husband.
Sources declared for Top Channel that the police had tried to contact Dallendyshe Jazxhiu so that she could explain her withdrawal of the request, and the answer was that the couple had reconciliated.
A few days after this declaration, the couple, parents of two children, was found dead. The woman was killed by her husband, who then committed suicide.
The alarm for the large number of withdrawn reports was given by the Court of Tirana. More than 200 women have withdrawn their charges against their spouses.
The Police says that 600 women have requested protection from domestic violence in the entire country for the first six months of 2013.
