Police forces near Podujeva

January 23rd came quiet and without protests at the “Dy Urat” area, near
Podujeva. Although there are no more protesters, the police presence
remains high.
Kosovapress reports that the additional troops of the Kosovo Police
arrived at 08:00, and were placed at the two bridges where the protest
is being held.
The protest at the Dheu i Bardhe ended Sunday 23:00, while the Merdare protesters dispersed today at 02:00.
The
decision for interrupting the protests came by the Self Determination
Movement leaders, after police blocked the logistic materials that were
meant to help the protesters to stay longer.
Officials from the Self Determination Movement declared that they will notify the public in time for the further protests.
