Police enters Lazarat

The State Police entered the Lazarat village this Friday and arrested two citizens.
Based on some information, the police seized 600 plants of cannabis in the yard of Xhelo Rabi, with the help of the Special Forces of the Gjirokaster Anti-Drug Police.
The 59-year-old was caught in the act at the Spilos neighborhood of the village, together with his wife.
This is the first arrest inside the Lazarat village, in the framework of an anti-drug operation started by the police since the last week.
The authorities have surrounded the famous village that is known for cultivating narcotic plants by inspecting anyone that enters the village.
The massive cultivation was also reported by Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare” during this week.
