The Albanian PM, Sali Berisha, greeted the 99th anniversary of the State
Police by addressing to all police agents with a request for increasing
the standards of safety.
The Prime Minister declared that these standards should be followed by the eternal delicacy, so the police forces should take the necessary measures.
“Our standards are constantly improving, but these standards have an eternal delicacy. Hence, we must pay more attention to them. The government will support you with all means, will make everything for a further modernization, for the consolidation of your cooperation with our international partners, to whom I express my deep gratitude”, Berisha declared.
The Police celebrated the 99th anniversary with a new uniform, which could be seen in the streets of the Albanian capital.
The meeting concluded with the rewards for the best police agents. The PM gave the medal personally to the anti-traffic commander, Edmond Rizai.
