After making some verifications in border villages, the Kosovo police
has arrested immigrants who were going to seek asylum in Western
European countries.

Most of them are hard to misss. They look tired and without following any address.

Sources say they pay 150 to 200 EUR to cross the border from Serbia. Taxi drivers then take them to their contacts.

Buses and taxis are banned from taking them to the border with Hungary, although there are advertisements with their addresses. Top Channel has been able to film the police holding various groups.

Before being deported, they are held in shelters, which are mostly closed. The asylum procedures in Hungary last three months, but many are freed after 24 hours.

A few days ago, the police arrested 250 people on trains going to Vienna and other countries. The EU, Hungary and some other countries have an easier border regime. There are no more border guards, only police officers who are not enough for covering this problem. On the other hand, Serbia has refused to give any information..
