Podrimja found dead in France

The body of the famous Kosovo poet, Ali Podrimja, was found dead in
France. The authorities were looking for him for several days.
The news was announced by the Kosovo media, who declared that the French Authorities had announced the Kosovo Foreign Ministry that the poet had passed away.
According to the RTK, the French authorities are working for discovering the cause of the death.
Podrimja had lost contacts with his colleagues and friends since July 18th, when he was participating in the poetry festival “Mediterranean Voice”, in Lodève, France.
The Kosovo foreign Minister expressed his shock for this loss, and gave his condolences to the family of the poet, the writers’ community and the entire Kosovo.
“The loss of the poet of international fame, Ali Podrimja, is a great loss not only for his family and friends, but for the culture and art of Kosovo, Albania and further”, Hoxhaj declared.
The Head of the Kosovo diplomacy declared in his telegram that the memory of Podrimja will always be alive, and will serve as a motivation for Kosovo’s next generations.
