The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, has lost yet another trial for defamation based on his Facebook posts.
The former PM was sued in 2018 at the Court of Tirana by his successor, PM Edi Rama.
Judge Marjana Dedi found Mr.Berisha guilty of defamation, and he was ordered to pay 500,000 ALL to the Albanian PM.
On October 14th, 2018, Berisha posted on Facebook in which he said that the mafia families of Rama, Xhafa, Balla and Tahiri are under international investigation by several agencies of our partner countries. In all court sessions, Berisha’s lawyers failed to provide evidence supporting his claims.
