Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that work has begun on the construction of the Fier Regional Hospital, promised by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In a video message distributed to the media, Rama gave details about the construction of this hospital, adding that it will be administered for a certain period by the Turkish side and then will be transferred to the Albanian staff.
Rama further wrote that this regional hospital will be at the same time a center for the transfer of technology and knowledge from the Turkish health system to the Albanian health system, being administered and directed in each ward by Turkish experts and doctors for a transitional period, until
in the transfer of competencies to Albanian leaders, who will work and learn side by side with Turkish experts.
