PM Rama: Pfizer bringing 7020 doses of vaccines, near provision of a quantity of doses from Astrazeneca

Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social networks announced today the arrival of 7020 doses of anti-COVID vaccine from the contract with the Pfizer company, adding further that we are very close to securing a significant amount of doses from Astrazeneca.

Rama also writes that from today will be activated the first scenario of including regional hospitals to meet the need for hospitalization, as previously announced by Minister Manastirliu.

“Over 90,000 rapid tests have been performed at 54 community testing points in addition to the PCR test, while field efforts continue to intensify to break the chain of infection,” he wrote.
