Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that restaurants and bars will be the last to open due to the situation created by the coronavirus epidemic. “Restaurants and bars will be the last to open. I’m sorry but it’s impossible otherwise, ” he said.
As for the authorizations of the movement, the head of government explained: “If you have business in the city and you want to go by private vehicle, you will definitely get an authorization and the authorizations will be much simpler now that the measures are a little more relaxed. I know very well that it has been tight, I know very well that many authorizations have been rejected, this has not been as a result of some dictatorial lust but simply to guarantee the result we have achieved in this war”.
Regarding the restrictive measures, Rama stressed that the general people do not receive fines, but only the irresponsible. “Fines are not something to fill the budget with. They are very few in relation to the people. But they are there to give out the message that we live by rules and the rules are equal for everyone “, declared Rama.
Regarding businesses’ closures and the “war salary”, Rama said that no one will be rejected with the new “extended package”, but added that the first package was “for a certain category” of entities.
