The US Ambassador, Donald Lu, met with Prime Minister Edi Rama today for
more than 90 minutes, their first meeting after June 25th elections.
Confidential sources said for Top Channel this was just a friendly meeting, without any concrete agenda of discussions.
Rama and Lu may have discussed about latest political developments, as Socialists are preparing to rule the government alone starting from this September.
The Socialist Party has started a hearing and thank-you tour around the country, before the National Assembly that will be held this August with a new government platform.
The US Ambassador has not given any declaration so far about the process, although he followed them closely as an observer.
