The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is attending a visit in Kosovo
where he stopped at the headquarters of Ramush Haradinaj’s party, the
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

Rama said that the Kosovo and Albanian governments are working together to remove the arrest orders belonging to the past.

“I trust that the trial of Ramush Haradinaj will end up as we want. This is the start of a new work between both governments, to permanently delete these arrest orders that remind us what a threat the past is for us. Let’s make the past irreversible”, Rama said.

Adrian Gjini, vice leader of the Alliance for the Future of Albania, said that PM Rama and the Republic of Albania have played an important role: “We want to publicly thank them for the commitment regarding the situation created with Haradinaj’s arrest in France”, Ardian Gjini said.

Rama met with the Mayor of Prishtina too, Shpend Ahmeti. After an informal lunch with President Thaci, Prime Minister Rama will meet with Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa.
