Prime Minister Edi Rama has conducted inspections in the city of Berat today, among which the works for the new road of the ancient Castle of the city.
Rama said that with the new road Kalaja e Beratit will completely change the quality of the tourist offer of the city, enabling easy access for cars from the hillside and finally liberating the internal pedestrian road to the Castle.
“The new road of Berat Castle is an important part of the tourist offer, enabling easy access for cars from the hillside and finally relieving the inner pedestrian road to the Castle”, he writes.
Today Rama also inspected the Ura Vajgurore town, where the second phase of works for the Osum River protection and rehabilitation project has started. This is planned to be turned into a space for visitors with sports fields, running tracks, promenades and recreation facilities.
