The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, apologized for the declaration
made yesterday in Kucova, where he invited police officers to join the
Socialist Party campaign after their working hours.
Rama apologized through a status on social networks, and explained that it was not his intention, although it was maliciously deformed. “However, I’m the one who made the mistake”, Rama said.
Many commenters reacted after this. Many understood him, while others called his appeal a mistake, while others accept his apology.
The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, was direct with his critics against Edi Rama and against the police. As for the voices that he could be discharged as President, Meta said there is no chance that the Socialist Party can discharge him.
