Prime Minister Edi Rama closed today the electoral campaign in the capital, where he asked for the vote for the candidate Erion Veliaj in the May 14 elections.
He said that Veliaj will win the leadership of the Municipality of Tirana with the deepest margin.
“It is important to understand that the interaction of the government with the Municipality of Tirana is an interaction between forces and levels that are united by the same vision. This translates into welfare, increased employment. Investing in public beauty and investing in the conditions for the city to be developed is not propaganda, it is only economics.”
Rama said further in his speech: “We need to turn Albania into a tourist country. Tirana is the center of gravity of this development, now that it is much bigger.
“I want to tell the residents of Tirana who will vote on May 14, that today it is important to keep in mind that it is not just a vote to decide the mayor, but to decide how the future life of our country in relation to itself and allies. The way things have turned out, the May 14 vote is more a test of character for voters on the right than a test of victory for voters on the left. The SP is convinced that we will overcome it without the help of others and on May 14 Lali Eri (socialist candidate Erion Veliaj) will become our mayor again with the deepest difference”.
