The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, inspected with Mayor Erion Veliaj
the construction works at the new boulevard, and the first new
underground parking.
“This boulevard will be another added value and a new standard in our urban area. It may be the place where we will make the next fan zone for the European finals”, Rama said.
Tirana will have another central park bigger than the “Rinia” park, while the underground parking with 306 places is expected to free some traffic at the Zogu I boulevard.
The new boulevard is 1600 long, with 6 lanes. 1/3rd of the project has been done so far. The underground parking is expected to be complete within this year, while the new boulevard is expected to be ready within the next year.
