PJIU: Cham minority should be recognized in Greece

The Party of Justice, Integrity and Unity requested the Albanian
President and Government to ask Greek authorities to recognize the Cham
minority in Greece.

The reaction of this party came after an exclusive program shown by Top Channel, which gave evidence about the existence of this minority in the Chameria region.

“The PJIU has raised their voice on this truth often. There are some who have called this non-existent, but the confession of a journalist who has been declared non-grata just because he says the truth, showed what cannot be denied. The PJIU, the Chameria Association, the Young Patriots Club and every Albanian asked the President, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister to raise the issue of the remaining Albanian Chams to their European Union counterparts. They don’t have the right to declare that they are Albanians, they don’t have the right to study and communicate in Albanian. It will be unforgivable if the Albanian government keeps staying silent”, Ardit Bido declared.
