Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The PJIU, led by Shpetim Idrizi, is against the Electoral Reform planned
by the two big parties. The leader of this party, who has two MPs in
parliament, declared that the reform is a small retouch to the law
between the two main parties.
The PJIU leader released this declaration during the National Council meeting of this party, where they discussed a series of hot political issues, such as the agreement of the maritime borders, the Census, the electoral reform and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of independence.
“PJIU was active in blocking the anti-national agreement of the maritime borders with Greece. We also blocked the denationalizing population registration and normalized it with our amends. PJIU is a critical force for the government’s improvisations for the commemoration of the important independence figures. PJIU does not agree with the confusing display and honoring of these figures”, Idrizi declared.
At the National Council of the PJIU, Idrizi presented the work that has been done and the goals of the party for the electoral year. He presented the project-status and the new project-program that will be discussed in the next Party congress.
“Today we need a deep organization not only for holding the big electoral weight, but also for increasing it further. Today we will start the organizing of the party for the electoral campaign, the draft-status and the draft-program. They will be discussed together with the elections”, Idrizi declared.
Adri Nurellari was one of the co-authors of the new status and program of the PJIU, who was presented as a new asset in this political formation.
