Every effort for securing tap water in Peshkopia has failed, and this was admitted even by Mayor Ilir Krosi.
From the beginning of the summer season and until now, the town that he leads has no running water due to the blocked springs at “Kala e Dodes”. After four months without water for the houses of the town, the Mayor demanding a meeting with the local leaders and those from Kala e Dodes, requesting them to solve the problem.
The Mayor underlined that all efforts for bringing water have gone in vain, and for this is needed a strong intervention from the law.
Kala e Dodes residents don’t want their water springs to be used by the aqueduct, saying that they are the only irrigation sources for them.
