Tirana Municipality regained the trust of its citizens thanks to the work done until now, Mayor Erion Veliaj said from kindergarten nr.51 where he went to visit the reconstructed building. “We have here 200 princes and princesses and that means people are beginning to trust again on public institutions”, Veliaj said.
He argued this change towards public kindergartens comes as a result of good management that sometimes surpasses that of private institutions who could offer more commodities. “I believe we have created some ideal nests for our princes and princesses with the work we have done till now in nurseries and kindergartens”, he added.
Veliaj highlighted that for the first time kindergartens did not close during August in order to stay close to children who do not have the possibility to go on vacations. And that, for the Mayor, is the best proof that his administration is always working. “I hope that through better kindergartens and schools we will have a better city where you all grow up and do the right things”, Veliaj told to children.
Neighborhood residents also helped in the reconstruction of Kindergarten nr.51 and Veliaj thanked them too. “I am glad that beside all the companies we got help from members of the community, someone with their modest possibilities, someone providing the curtains, someone providing furnitures. But I would say we have done a fantastic job in this kindergarten”, he added.
