Pensions, problems to continue until April

The Albanian Post, which is tasked with the distribution of the pensions in its tellers, says that the Social Insurance Institution has transferred the fund, but the system is being completely computerized and there is needed a new distribution chart.

“This service will start computerized on April 1st. There will be more commodity, and for this is needed an accurate chart for balancing the data, in order to eliminate confusion and long queues, appointing a given date for every pensioner to receive his pension. When the clients will be presented at the teller, we will eliminate the long procedures that we have used so far and we will have the information right away”, declared Elena Andoni, director of the Albanian Post.

According to Andoni, the pensioners will receive a payment bill, while the Albanian Post keeps offering the home delivery service with a 50 ALL payment.

Problem for pensions, Helsinki Committee reacts

The Albanian Helsinki Committee reacted in a declaration, saying that the Insurance Institution and all other subjects that they have contracted for the pension distribution should understand that they work for the pensioners, who have the right to collect their pension regularly, each month.

“The way how we behave and how we treat the pensioners and the third age in general is one of the indicators of our cultural, humane and democratic level of our society.
