Pediatric hospital, additional doctors for viruses

The temperature change has increased the number of young patients that seek medical help at the Tirana hospital.
There have been 250 visits per day, but doctors say that there are difficulties for this situation.
“There is a flux that is not easy to be avoided. There are too many patients and it is difficult for the doctors to cover all of them”, declared Petrit Caca, head of the Pediatric Hospital.
The Health Minister, Vangjel Tavo, promised to dobule the medical personnel in this pavilion to increase the quality.
“The Health Ministry has decided to double the number of doctors that will serve at this hospital, so that the parents and their children can feel more secure and have a quicker and more qualitative service. This measure will be seasonal, but it will be used for every season”, Tavo declared.
According to the doctors, this is a good solution that will help them with their work, since there have been cases when they have had 400 visits per day.
