Paul Nicaj, an Albanian from Montenegro, is an immigration success story.
He has been living in New York for decades. In the beginning he found a job at the “Plaza” hotel, when it was administered by Trump. After a dedicated work, he became a main manager, from a simple waiter.
Nicaj says he has welcomed several Albanian presidents in New York’s “Plaza”, from Ramiz Alia, Sali Berisha and Bamir Topi.
“There are many Albanians working for Trump. He has helped them a lot. Ramiz Alia was the first President at this hotel. The Albanian flags were kept for one week in the hotel. After Ramiz there was Sali Berisha and then Bamir Topi”, Nicaj said.
After 30 years, Nicaj now has his own businesses, in which he has employed 600 Albanians.
