The Central Election Commission chose today the listing of the political parties by casting lots.
The first names on the list belonged to the League for Justice and Progress Party and the Popular Christian-Democratic Party.
The left winged Alliance for European Albania is listed third, followed by the Alliance for Employment, Welfare and Integration on the fourth place. The Red and Black Alliance and New Democratic Spirit were fifth and sixth on the list.
The Central Election Commission also passed the request of the international mission OSCE/ODIHR for accrediting the observers in the electoral process.
Before casting the lots, the opposition representatives opposed once again the functionality of the Central Election Commission with only four members.
“We have shown several times that it is impossible for the Central Election Commission to function with four members. Casting lots is a normative act”, declared the Socialist Party legal representative, Genc Gjoncaj.
“It is an obligation of the Socialist Party to bring the names of the three Central Election Commission members. The act that we are reviewing is common and can pass even with four votes”, declared the Democratic Party representative, Njazi Kosovrasti.
