Parties’ debate about integration

The absence of the Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, who should
speak about the national action plan regarding the 12 key priorities,
caused harsh debates in the Parliamentary Commission for European
Integration.

The majority members of the commission accused the Socialist colleagues of politicizing this matter without any need.

“The Minister of Integration broke the pact with the commission, because we agreed that this meeting should be held today. The Minister must guarantee her participation”, declared the Socialist MP, Taulant Balla.

“Your consideration has a harsh political and injustice tone. If you would have wanted, you would have closed the electoral reform”, Mesila Dode declared, the integration MP of the Democratic Party.

While the Socialist Chairman of this Commission, Ditmir Bushati, declared that they must follow the EU recommendations and the letter of Sanino, the Integration Director at the European Commission.

“This case is not with us, but with the European Council. The priority that is facing a stalemate is that of Justice, which we have sent to the Commission of Laws”, Bushati declared.
