The Parliament Speaker of Albania, Gramoz Ruci, met with the UN high-level official in Geneva.
He was received by Olga Algayerova, Executive Secretary at the Economic Commission of the UN for Europe UNECE>
After reiterating the important role of the economic cooperation with the UN, Ruci said that Albania will increase cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, transportation, trade exchange, energy, statistic, digitalization, etc.
In this meeting, they also discussed the Stable Development Objectives, a resolution that was voted with unanimity in Albania’s parliament.
Ruci said that the Albanian government, in cooperation with the UN mission in Tirana, has started an all-inclusive implementation of the national strategy for development and integration, 2015-2020, and the country’s EU integration agenda.
