The Parliamentary Commission of Production Activities submitted the
evaluation report on all activities of the Energy Regulatory Agency
(ERA) during 2010.

The deputies have planned a document that evaluates the entire work performed by ERA, despite the difficulties faced last year, especially regarding CEZ Company.

“The Parliamentary Commission of Production Activities, recognizing that the annual coefficient of distribution effectiveness remains very low, declares that during 2010, ERA has treated with impartiality and within legal deadlines the complaints made by consumers, taking the respective decisions for avoiding abuses that have been frequently noted in the procedures followed by CEZ for applying bills of “economic damage” and “unmeasured energy”.

According to the Parliament, ERA has closely monitored the service quality and has identified concrete problems of the distribution to the clients.

Based on this report, the Parliament asked ERA to continue paying attention to the consumer by guaranteeing them service quality and constant distribution of energy with transparency, good information and impartiality.
