The Socialist MP, Taulant Balla, referring to the Interior Inspection
Service report about January 21st, broadcasted by Top Channel a few days
ago, accused PM Berisha and the former Interior Minsiter, Lulzim Basha,
as the responsible of this tragedy.

“This is the IIS report, which rejects the claims of the Democrtic MPs, and confirms the fact that this State Police is completely incriminated. The report clearly states that there have been intentional orders to shoot against the crowd, same as Assad is doing in Syria, against his own people. The report clearly states that the responsibility falls on Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha. The Prime Minister has been hiding for more than one year from his responsibility for ordering the killings”, Balla declared.

Balla invited PM Berisha to go together at the Prosecution and give a declaration for the investigations.

The Democratic Party MP, Arenca Trashani, blamed the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, as the only responsible for the January 21st events.

“Edi Rama is the man who orchestrated the attack against the Constitutional institutions, who orchestrated an attack against democracy. I say “orchestrated”, because he was hided as a coward, and incited the innocent people to attack the institutions. One year has passed and he has not found the courage to apologize to the Albanians. Which Prosecutor in the world would issue an arrest order for the National Guard, after that kind of attack against the institution? However, we will continue to demand the truth to come out”, Trashani declared.

The Socialist MP, Pirro Luto, mentioned some alarming figures for the deterioration of the order and security in Albania for the last three years.

“State Police sources speak about an alarming growth of criminality in the country. We will give you some examples. Murders have increased with 75%, from 2008 to 2011. Thefts have increased with 93%, while armed robberies have doubled”, Luto declared.

The Parliament passed the two draft-laws about the loan that the government will take for building the Fier and Vlore bypasses, and the Tirana-Elbasan highway.
