Pan-Albanian “ICT Albania” Competition

Dozens of professional young talents from all countries where Albanians
reside have participated in the pan-national competittion of ICT
Albania.

The basic of this race was evaluating the best individual values in information technology, from the public and private sectors alike. The race finalized in a gala supported by the Dritan Hoxha foundation and also the mediums “TIK”, “PcWorld”, “CIO”, “Computer World” and other partners.

“ICT, the telecommunication area is a very attractive one. I congratulate everyone, especially the organizers and their supporters, such as Top Channel, because without their help it wouldn’t have been possible discovering these talents”, declared the jury leader, Ismet Hamiti.

“I am honored to represent the Dritan Hoxha Foundation in the first event of Albania ICT Awards. Dritan Hoxha, the founder of “Top Media”, was one of the most successful businessmen with a priceless contribution in communication technology and information throughout the Albanian lands. Top Media continues the work of Dritan Hoxha by constantly promoting this area”, declared the Director of the Foundation, Vjollca Dako.

Several awards were distributed in this evening which had the presence of the US Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu; the EU Ambassador, Ettore Sequi and important representatives of this area.

“We have the pleasure to award those young Albanians who have produced applications and software with their talent”, declared the Minister of Innovation, Technology, Information and Communication, Genc Pollo.

Most of the participants came from high levels, from all the lands where Albanians live. 13 young men were awarded by the jury for their special talents in technology.
