The Democratic Party group leader, Edi Paloka, declared that Albania will not have elections without the Democratic Party.
“We will have free elections. There is no turning back. Anyone who thinks that they can start elections without the Democratic Party and the opposition on June, must forget it. They hope the DP will not be part of the elections, so that he can appoint the opposition too”, Paloka said.
“He might think that he may let Bamir Topi or anyone else as opposition. He must forget it. They will have to disappear”, Paloka declared.
He appealed the Prime Minister that there are no elections in Albania if the Parliament doesn’t vote for them.
“Rama’s mandate ends after June 18th. If he enters his office again after that day, he’ll see what will happen. He better understands this”, Paloka said.
He added that the DP does not make pressures and has no intention to realize the dream of Albanians through violence, but the Prime Minister must understand that this kind of resistance can end only one way.
“We are determined that the result of this resistance is one and only, free votes and victory for Albanians”, Paloka said.
