The Court of Vlore left in prison Jorgo Zani, the man who killed his 12-year-old nephew in Palasa.
Zani did not give any declaration about the murder, while the Prosecution’s representative declared that the defendant confessed the crime and that during the interrogation he kept smiling.
He had even resisted police with the knives and machetes he had used for slaughtering the 12-year-old.
The Vlore Prosecution has ordered a psychiatric expertise to determine his mental state.
The 30-year-old used to live in Greece and had returned to Palasa for the holidays. Police say he was found hurting the body of the teenager even after he had passed away.
Zani had been hospitalized in the Vlora Hospital, but he had been released by his father.
