A National Inspectorate of Urban Construction operation was obstructed by force today in the Levan-Tepelena road.
The Inspectorate had asked help from the police to demolish an illegal construction, but owners threatened to jump from the high floors of that byuilding.
Police had to use force after owners had taken their wives and children to stop the demolition.
Police used rubber batons against protesters, and some of them were arrested for resisting.
The building owner claims his object is under legalization process.
The National Inspectorate of Urban Construction started this operation last weekend. 21 objects have been demolished so far, from 169 that there are in total along the Levan-Tepelena highway.
