Orthodox Archbishop wishes happy Easter

The Archbishop of the Orthodox Church, Anastasi, wished all Albanians a happy Easter.

“Easter invites us to go from our egocentrism to fraternity with others. Fatigue, mistrust and the bitterness of our daily life often pushes us to egocentrism. We go around ourselves, our problems and interests. It is an urgent duty to come out of the egoism tower, and meet other people with respect and sympathy. Let us embrace each other for Easter, let us give others forgiveness, compassion and not faked love. Let us forgive everyone on the day of resurrection. Easter invites us to go out of distress and discouragement, and enter the road of hope. Let us leave fear aside, which fills our spirit with bitterness”, the Archbishop declared.
