Young residents of the SOS village have given gifts to six abandoned
newborns at the “Mbreteresha Xheraldine” maternity on the New Year’s
Eve.
They offered diapers and milk to the babies, reminding to themselves how their own life started.
With the support of the Institution for Orphans, the SOS Village residents appealed mothers to not abandon their children.
Abandoned newborns stay in maternity for two months and then are sheltered at the orphanage, where some of the undergo adoption procedures.
