Orban: Solution for elections, the American method

“If Albania or any other country would fulfill the reforms, they might
become part of EU before it is predicted. The energy, the work for
fulfilling the conditions and the commitment towards the objective for
becoming part of EU are essential. The more energy there is for this
objective, the fastest will the integration be”, said Orban, Prime
Minister of the country that has the turn of EU presidency.

Speaking in a press conference with the homologue Sali Berisha, Orban
declared that for the miscast ballot, Albania should follow the American
method. Miscast ballots must be counted and the Court must give its
decision.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Sali Berisha emphasized that despite
the loud political noise, the Albanian state functions normally.

“State institutions guarantee law implementation. The elections were
held in a very short time and with very clear results. The official
result for Tirana is a test for the country’s institutions”, Berisha
declared.
