As the first ship with immigrants from Italy to be processed in Albania landed today on the shores of Shengjin, Ilir Meta hastened to call for popular protests against the Rama-Meloni pact.
“The whole of Albania should rise in protest so that this is no longer a place of conglomeration of immigrants, where the Albanian language is no longer even spoken. Everyone should stand up to this”, said Meta.
The leader of the Freedom Party also addressed the criticism of the Prime Minister on the issue of EU integration, although he applauded the opening of negotiations for the first five chapters.
“The start of negotiations is an important moment, even though it is very late. Albania starts negotiations that could no longer be postponed, as a narco-state where the prime minister, ministers, and higher officials are directly implicated in international drug trafficking,” he added.
Meta also considered the protest announced by the democrats at the doors of the European Parliament, as he asked to raise his voice for the injustices that, according to him, are being done to the Albanians by the Rama government.
