Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Social Democratic leader, Skender Gjinushi, and the Demo Christian
Nard Ndoka, expressed their disagreement with the opposition’s behavior
for the presidential election.
Both Edi Rama’s allies analyze the factors that faded the opposition’s role.
Gjinushi declared that although the opposition has returned in Parliament, it doesn’t enjoy any right, but it has simply been submitted for the secret vote. Gjinushi says that the opposition is unable to defend the constitutionality of the President, The Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.
Nard Ndoka declared that the opposition has taken a loss, and this period of silence serves as a cushion to soften its effect. According to Ndoka, the opposition has no political action to start, and many that have started have been abandoned midway.
Gjinushi says that the opposition, same as the international community, is being manipulated and the unstable positions of the government and the opposition have caused the loss of the EU candidate status, and are putting at risk even the next test that will be this autumn.
Nard Ndoka added that the opposition is silent, unorganized and unable to fight for unmasking the corruptive affairs. Ndoka explains this with ties between the majority and the opposition, since the presence of some businessmen among the opposition leaders are the ones who find cooperation with the government and paralyze the opposition’s voice.
