As warned, the protest of the opposition escalated to violence.
The seemingly peaceful start of young girls trying to donate flowers to the police officers was followed by men trying to break the Prime Minister’s Office door, and the police responding with tear gas.
The protesters tried to enter inside and to remove the scaffold that the police had placed in front of the door.
Police officers reacted from the inside, throwing tear gas and pressured water.
