The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, was summoned for a hearing session by the opposition, which focused on the negotiations with Greece and Albania’s Jerusalem vote at the UN General Assembly.

However, rather than discussing the latter, the opposition decided to hold a Parliamentary session for all MPs to decide about changing Albania’s UN vote.

“It is too late to discuss it. We have a political stance regarding Albania’s vote against the USA and we want it voted in Parliament”, declared the Democratic Party MP, Edi Paloka.

As for the talks with Greece, Minister Bushati said that the process is still undergoing.

“Unfortunately, the war law is full of problematic topics, but what about the 500,000 Albanians who live in Greece? How can we cooperate and demand easier procedures and more rights for them? We haven’t finished discussing the border matter with Greece”, Minister Bushati declared.
