Opposition leader meets former Canadian Prime Minister

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, has received the President of the International Unit of Democrats, Stephen Harper, former Prime Minister of Canada.

Basha thanked him for the support given to Albana’s Euro-Atlantic integration, and said that it is a great honor for him to welcome such a firm supporter of democracy in Albania.

The opposition leader expressed his gratitude for the assistance that the former Prime Minister of Canada has offered for the rule of law and democracy in Albania, as the only path towards the EU integration.
