Opposition leader meets Austrian Deputy Foreign Minister: “Albania’s government, paralyzed by crime”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, told the Austrian Foreign Minister said that the government is completely paralyzed by their ties with crime.

Basha said that the emigration of Albanians towards EU countries shows their disappointment by the government, which is represented at any level by criminals.

“The EU cannot ignore this problem, because their credibility is at risk”, Basha said.

The Democratic Party believes that the realization of the electoral reform, including the electronic voting, is one of the ways to leave the crisis behind and bring back the people’s trust.

Austria will take the EU Presidency for the next six months, and the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed their full support to Albania with the reforms and concrete results.
