The Democratic Part leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted after a declaration of
PM Edi Rama, saying that he is looking for new conflicts right after
the consensus.
“Not long after the historic agreement for the Justice Reform, Edi Rama appears with the enthusiasm of having discovered a new source of conflict. Why does this man get sick by an agreement with the opposition, for the highest interests of our country, so that he runs to create new conflicts? The Constitution is our biggest contract, which has given deadlines before passing laws. We cannot violate the Constitution in the nae of justice. The opposition experts are working and reviewing the Vetting Law which arrived two days ago, in midnight. The process has now a confirmed leader, who is not Edi Rama, Lulzim Basha or even less, Fatmir Xhafaj. This leader is consensus”, Basha said.
He underlined that consensus is the only way for passing the laws and that the opposition has no time to lose with futile debates.
Basha accused the government of allowing crime to break statistic records, of allowing Elvis Rroshi to be still the Mayor of Kavaja, even after the evidence for falsification, and of not answering to the accusations for paying 80.000 USD for a picture with Obama.
Basha mentioned the tax on the Nation’s Road, said that the health system is in total collapse while his Ministers are receiving millions in tenders and concessions. Basha adds that the country is covered by drugs and people are killing each other for it while police officers receive a percentage after dining with traffickers and after showing their muscles to the weak, poor and the disabled.
Basha said that while all of the above is taking place in Albania, Rama is looking for new conflicts. “But our battle for us are free and fair elections, so that our country can get free from the corrupted and criminal regime that is suffocating citizens. We will win this battle for every Albanian”, Basha concluded.
