Although it coincides with a tragedy, this week will bring to our
memories the valued, tradition and culture of the Cham population.
Each day from June 25th to 30th will be filled with activities for reminding the tragedy of the Cham people and for identifying their values.
“We are on a joint road with all Albanians to make justice for the Cham case”, declared the PJIU leader, Shpetim Idrizi.
Among the many activities, there is an exhibit with historical images of the Cham lands, and the construction for the monumental cemeteries of the Cham Albanians in Kllogjer. On 30 June there will be a visit at the Kllogjer Field, where there will be homage for the 3000 Albanians that died due to the Greek ethnic cleansing genocide of 1944-1945.
After the visit in the site, there will be a march at the Qafe Bote, where they will protest for the Cham case.
