While the Serbian media constantly change their news titles by
underlining that the situation in Northern Kosovo is getting tenser,
Serbian officials appealed for peace.

The Serbian Minister for Kosovo, Goran Bogdanovic appealed the Serbs for calm and to protect their interests in a peaceful way. He declared that the danger has been present for 12 years, but this is not D-Day, because the Serbians have always worked against these unilateral actions.

Bogdanovic declared that Serbia has no army or police in Kosovo, but only the civilians who are determined to protect their country peacefully. Meanwhile, every Serbian representative has gone to Northern Kosovo, starting from the Church High Rank officials, negotiators, opposition MPs, extremist groups and Belgrade students. The Secretary for Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovich, declared that the support that the international community has given to Prishtina has deteriorated the situation and compromises international organizations, since they should have been neutral.

The Serbian media have not clarified if there are Kosovo Customs or Police agents in the border checkpoints, although they have speculated about only one. Serbian radicals who have traveled to Northern Kosovo declared that they faced barbed wires and KFOR roadblocks, and they were not allowed to enter. But then they used alternative roads, from the surrounding mountains.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the Serbian Radical Party, led by Dragan Todorevic entered Kosovo through Jarinje, asking the Serbs to ensure the support of China and Russia for the north.

The President of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia, Millorad Dodic, declared that Serbia cannot do anything for stopping the robbing of Kosovo, because, according to him, this is being made by the super powers.
