The Interior Minister, Flamur Noka, has signed his first movements in his department.
After more than seven years as head of the Interior Inspection Service, Astrit Halilaj has left this post by order of the Interior Minister and has been replaced by Bashkim Shehu, who was general secretary of the Ministry of Culture. Years ago Mr. Shehu was part of the Traffic Police.
It is still unknown where Halili will be appointed now, as former leader of one of most important sectors of the Albanian police, which inspected the Albanian Police during the report of this sector for the January 21st events and that found many defects of the Police agents during the protest.
