The Democratic Party continued reporting the people hired by the new majority in the public administration.
MP Flamur Noka reported the hiring of a man he accuses of murder in the communist period as new Chief of the Malesi e Madhe Police.
“Rifat Coku was appointed Chief of Police in Malesi e Madhe. He served as a Chief of police at the border checkpoint during the communist dictatorship, and on October 2nd 1986 he was part of the fusilation of Sokol Veshti, who had been caught trying to cross the border”, Noka declared.
“In 1996, Rifat Coku was sentenced for genocide from the Shkoder Court, but he was released after the turmoil of 1997. Rifat Coku was ‘revived’ by this oligarchy that has appointed him Chief of the Malesi e Madhe Police”, Noka added.
“This appointment shows the daily incrimination of the state police. The safety of the Malesi e Madhe citizens will be on the hands of an executioner of the past dictatorship, with the blessing of Rama and Meta”, declared the former Minister of the DP.
