The government is expected to remove the VAT for imported machineries
and appliances which are bought by businesses for making their
productivity more effective.
Berisha announced other facilitating measures for business, suggested by the representatives in the meeting held a few days ago.
“The business expressed important and valid opinions for improving the activity. We will study all of them, one by one, in order to reach the better standards on this aspect”, Berisha declared.
Removing VAT on machineries and appliances was an earlier request of all business groups, as a measure that would facilitate business and incite investments in economy.
According to the current law, VAT for machineries and appliances can be paid two years after the import date.
