Skenderbeu won the biggest title of the Albanian football after
defeating Flamurtari 0-2 in Vlore, while Partizani in Tirana lost its
leading from 1-0 to 1-2 against Teuta.
With a goal from Latifi, Skenderbeu, the team of Korca, showed since the eighth minute that they weren’t conceding any victory to Partizani, whose only way to continue their hopes was a possible defeat of Skenderbeu.
Partizani went ahead with a goal in the 25th minute, which then passed the attention in Vlore, waiting for surprises from Flamurtari, the team that was playing without any objective.
But no good news came from Vlore as Plaku took Skenderbeu another step ahead, with the second goal.
If this wasn’t enough for Partizani, Lamcja gave Teuta the equalizer at the 73rd minute, and a second one that changed tables, in the last minutes of the match.
Skenderbeu won the sixth consequent title, the seventh in history, while Partizani lost the chance to take the first title after 23 years.
